Heirs Energies set to empower 1,000 additional entrepreneurs in 2026

Heirs Energies has revealed its plan to empower 1,000 additional entrepreneurs in 2026.

Heirs Energies Chief Executive Officer, Osa Igiehon made this known at the 2026 Tony Elumelu Foundation Selection Announcement in Abuja.

This is the company reaffirmed its commitment to fostering grassroots economic growth by announcing a massive new wave of support for young business owners.

Reflecting on the successes of the previous year, Igiehon detailed the substantial regional impact Heirs Energies achieved through its ongoing partnership with the Tony Elumelu Foundation.

In 2025, the company successfully sponsored a robust cohort of 1,000 entrepreneurs. To ensure the economic benefits were felt directly within their primary areas of operation, the firm deliberately directed 40 percent of this developmental support to business owners in Delta State, while allocating over 50 percent to beneficiaries in Rivers State.

Building on its established track record, Heirs Energies is now aggressively expanding its empowerment mandate for the current fiscal year.

Igiehon announced to the gathered stakeholders that the company will fund an additional 1,000 beneficiaries throughout 2026.

This new initiative will maintain a strict regional focus, with a stated target of dedicating 50 percent of the developmental support to the broader Niger Delta region.

This sustained financial and structural commitment underscores the firm's overarching dedication to scaling its localized impact and nurturing a new generation of self-reliant young entrepreneurs right in its own backyard.
