Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Professor Alhassan Mohammed Gani, former Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Kashere (FUK).
In a heartfelt condolence message, Governor Yahaya extended sympathies to the late professor’s family, academic colleagues, and the entire management, staff, and student community of both FUK and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), where Gani also served.
He also condoled with the people of Kanam Local Government Area in Plateau State, where Professor Gani hailed from and was honoured with the traditional title of Dan Masanin Kanam.
Governor Yahaya prayed for the repose of the late scholar’s soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus.
