Gov Fintiri’s aide dies days after toothache complaints,

A Special Assistant to Adamawa State Governor, Mr Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Suleiman Aliyu Garga, has died, three days after complaining of a severe toothache that required surgery.

Garga, who managed content creation for the governor, had posted on Facebook on Thursday, July 17, warning friends about the intensity of his pain.

“You should pray to God to save you from toothache even if it is for one minute. Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs,” he wrote.

Sources said Garga was admitted at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital for a surgical procedure but developed complications when the site of the operation began bleeding uncontrollably.

He died on Saturday, just 24 hours after the surgery.

The late aide was buried on Sunday morning at the Yolde Pate Muslim Cemetery in Yola, following Sallah prayers at the Modibbo Zailani Mosque, in line with Islamic rites.
