FUOYE appoints Sunday Saanu as Director, Public Relations

The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has appointed Dr Sunday Saanu as its Director of Public Relations.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Registrar of the University, Mr Mufutau Ibrahim made this known in a statement on Monday in Oye-Ekiti.

The statement read in parts “Dr Sunday Saanu, has been appointed as the Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs of FUOYE.

“He is a graduate of communication and a distinguished journalist with diverse experiences and insights gained over the years in both public and private universities.

“Dr Saanu have worked with four vice chancellors in University of Ibadan as Media Assistant before going to Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, where he further built a strong reputation for himself as an established writer with a compelling prose style.

“Respected for his resilience and resourcefulness, Saanu is coming to FUOYE with formidable academic and professional credentials, including a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Language Arts.

“His other professional qualifications are Master of Communication Arts (MCA), Master of Arts (MA) and a Doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in Cultural and Media Studies from University of Ibadan (UI)”.

The statement also noted that Saanu is a member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations
