Forum of CEOs of federal parastatals pledges 10m votes for Tinubu

The Forum of Chief Executive Officers of Federal Government agencies and parastatals has pledged to mobilise 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The forum’s pledge was conveyed in a statement signed by Mr Biodun Ajiboye, Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee, a copy of which was made available to the news reporters on Thursday in Abuja.

The group declared its support for Tinubu’s bid for a second term, urging all Nigerians to do same in view of his leadership, reforms and commitment to national development.

“We have seen the Renewed Hope Agenda. We are ready to take the message to every ward in Nigeria,” the statement said.

It added that the forum’s members, who are responsible for implementing federal government policies and programmes across the country, were in a position to assess the impact of the administration’s policies.

The forum commended Tinubu for his  bold decisions and reforms aimed at strengthening the economy, institutions and the country’s long-term development.

It also expressed appreciation to the president for appointing members of the forum as chief executives of various  agencies and parastatals.

It noted that the appointments came with the responsibility to serve Nigerians and contribute to the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

It further said that more than 400 CEOs and senior officials drawn from the  agencies and parastatals were members of the forum, with networks across the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and local communities.

“Our members will deploy their networks and grassroots relationships to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election, particularly at ward and community levels.

“We are ready to work with the Presidential Campaign Council and other relevant campaign structures to coordinate the mobilisation efforts,” the statement stated.

It declared that Tinubu’s second-term bid would provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms and sustain the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
