Former Oyo Deputy Governor emerges as new Oyo APC Party Chairman

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State have elected former Deputy Governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo, as the party’s new chairman in the state.
Adeyemo emerged as party chairman on Tuesday during the APC state congress held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in the Oke Ado area of Ibadan.
The new party chairman, who hails from the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone of the state, previously served as deputy to former Governor Abiola Ajimobi from 2011 to 2019.
The exercise was monitored by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), present at the venue.
Also elected at the congress was Wasiu Olawale Sadare, as the returning party’s publicity secretary.
