Fidelity Bank unveils SME Hub to boost small businesses, creative entrepreneurs
Fidelity Bank, a leading financial institution, has announced the launch of the Fidelity SME Hub, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs in the creative industry.
The Fidelity SME Hub is a multipurpose centre featuring training halls, meeting rooms, networking spaces, and specialised studios for music, photography, and content production.
The initiative underscores Fidelity Bank’s commitment to driving economic growth by providing both financial and non-financial support to SMEs.
“For nearly four decades, Fidelity Bank has been at the forefront of supporting small businesses in achieving their potential,” said Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director/CEO of Fidelity Bank Plc. “We recognise that SMEs require more than just financial assistance, which is why we have developed initiatives like the Fidelity SME Hub to foster innovation, collaboration, and capacity-building.”
A key highlight of the hub is Creativerse, a dedicated space for entrepreneurs in the creative sector. The facility will also host specialised training programs in financial management, digital transformation, marketing, and branding. Additionally, a creative academy will offer courses in music production, mobile videography, photography, website design, and more.
Beyond empowering businesses, Fidelity Bank aims to use the SME Hub to drive Nigeria’s economic diversification.
“Through Creativerse, we anticipate that content creators will unlock new revenue streams, further strengthening Nigeria’s creative economy,” Onyeali-Ikpe added.
Fidelity Bank, known for its strong SME support, has received multiple local and international awards, including the Best SME Bank in Nigeria by the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023.
