Fidelity Bank rewards 30 customers in GAIM 6 promo draws with cash prizes

Fidelity Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, has awarded cash prizes to 30 customers in the second and third monthly draws of its ongoing Get Alert in Millions Season 6 (GAIM 6) promotion, including winners from a special International Women’s Day Draw.

The prize presentation, held recently at the Fidelity SME Hub in Lagos, saw cheques of N1 million each handed to monthly draw winners, while N100,000 cheques were presented to winners of the Women’s Day special draw. Similar ceremonies have taken place at various Fidelity Bank locations nationwide.

Addressing attendees at the Lagos event, Dr. Ken Opara, the Promo Chairperson, was represented by Mr. Nnamdi Edekobi, Regional Bank Head for Victoria Island and Lekki. He stated that the structure of the GAIM 6 promo was deliberately designed to ensure fairness and inclusiveness across the campaign’s duration.

“This promo has been curated to be transparent and accessible, with carefully scheduled draws aimed at recognising our customers from all walks of life,” Edekobi said.

He added, “Now in its sixth season, the GAIM promo continues to generate excitement across the country. Its purpose is to promote a culture of saving while driving financial inclusion, particularly among young Nigerians. Fidelity Bank is strongly committed to the financial empowerment of youth, and this special draw for International Women’s Day is a clear reflection of our efforts to support women with the tools and resources they need to thrive.”

Also speaking at the event, the Divisional Head of Product Development, Mr. Osita Ede, revealed that since GAIM 6 kicked off in November 2024, the bank has already disbursed more than N30 million to winners. By the conclusion of the campaign in August 2025, that figure will rise to over N129 million in total prize money.

“One of the things that sets GAIM 6 apart is the eligibility of previous winners to participate again, provided they meet the set criteria,” Ede said. “This approach reinforces the importance of long-term savings habits and ensures that loyal savers are consistently recognised. The campaign’s grand finale will feature top prizes of N10 million, N5 million, and N2 million.”

Beyond monetary rewards, Ede pointed out that winners will also benefit from business advisory services and financial literacy training offered through the Fidelity SME Hub. “We’re not just handing out cash. We want our customers to have the knowledge and support necessary to grow their businesses and build lasting wealth,” he added.

Several beneficiaries shared their excitement at the event. Mr. Samuel Sunday, one of the N1 million prize winners, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the bank. “This reward is a game-changer for my business. I’ve been a loyal Fidelity customer for years, and I’m incredibly grateful for this recognition,” he said.

Another winner, Ms. Faith Gift, could hardly contain her joy. “Honestly, I thought it was a scam at first, until I got a call from my account officer confirming it. I’m deeply thankful to Fidelity Bank. This money is going directly into my business,” she said.

The GAIM 6 promotion aims to reward Fidelity Bank customers with a total of N159 million in cash prizes. The initiative is open to both existing and prospective customers, with winners emerging across various categories throughout its 10-month run.
