FCID unveils direct lines for public feedback on officers’ conduct in Lagos

The Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos has launched a dedicated Feedback Channel to receive complaints and commendations from members of the public regarding conduct of its officers.

Aminat Maiyegun, spokesperson of FCID, disclosed this in a post she shared on her X handle @ASPmaiyegunamin on Monday.
She said the initiative, introduced under the leadership of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Mr Olatunji Disu, aimed at promoting accountability, transparency, and professionalism within the command.
Maiyegun encouraged residents to make use of the newly established platform to report cases of misconduct, unprofessional behaviour, or to commend officers, who demonstrate exemplary service.
The image maker said the feedback channel reflected the command’s commitment to improving service delivery and strengthening public trust in policing.
She assured residents that all complaints and feedback received would be treated with due diligence and confidentiality.
The spokesperson urged members of the public to submit their concerns or positive feedback through the designated phone lines — 07068865833 and 08067167605 — or via email at pprofcidannex@gmail.com.
She noted that constructive engagement from the public remained vital to enhancing effective policing and ensuring officers upheld the highest standards of conduct.
