EdoDecides2024: INEC ready as voters gear up for election

In a promising start to the Edo Central governorship elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) appears fully prepared, with officials and materials already deployed at polling centers as early as 8 a.m.

This follows reports of heightened security with military presence on major roads throughout the city.

Voters expressed eagerness to participate, looking forward to casting their ballots for their preferred candidates.

At Emonkpae Primary School in Oredo Local Government Area, where Governor Godwin Obaseki is expected to vote, electoral officers arrived promptly.

Similarly, at Agbado Primary School, residents commended INEC for their efficient setup, signaling a positive atmosphere for the day’s voting activities.
