Ecobank, Qatar Airways honour top exhibitors at ‘Oja Oge’ Fair in Lagos

Ecobank Nigeria, in collaboration with Qatar Airways, has celebrated the achievements of outstanding vendors at the recently concluded “Oja Oge by Ecobank” fashion, beauty, and lifestyle fair held in Lagos.
According to a statement by the bank’s Head of Corporate Communications, Austene Osokpor, the vibrant three-day event showcased the creativity and entrepreneurial drive of local businesses, while providing a platform for visibility, sales growth, and market expansion.
A key moment of the fair was the presentation of awards to top-performing exhibitors. Goodness and Mercy Hair clinched the top prize with a Qatar Airways Business Class ticket to any global destination of choice, having recorded the highest gross sales in value.
Clandini was awarded an Economy Class ticket to any international location for securing the second-highest gross sales. Accessories by Morgan received ₦750,000 for recording the highest volume of transactions throughout the fair.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Omoboye Odu, Head of SME Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, praised the exhibitors for their innovation and the quality of their products. She also expressed appreciation to Qatar Airways and other partners for supporting the second edition of the bank’s flagship fashion showcase.
“This fair represents our continued commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs,” Odu stated. “It offered vendors a valuable opportunity to present their products, attract new customers, build strategic business relationships, and explore wider market access.”
She also underlined the fair’s importance in creating a space for emerging brands to connect with both local and international audiences.
Award recipients expressed their gratitude to Ecobank and Qatar Airways, acknowledging the significance of the recognition. A representative from Accessories by Morgan noted the critical role such initiatives play in scaling up small and medium-sized businesses and improving brand visibility.
