Delta government has urged its workforce to acquire the right attitude to work for an effective service delivery.

The Head of Service, Dr Mininim Oseji, said this while welcoming the civil servants to a one-day training on:”Right Work Attitude and Productive Centered Behaviour for Effective Service Delivery, ” on Thursday in Asaba.

Oseji said that there was the need for workers to acquire the skills and knowledge of civil service for a productive service delivery.

The Resource Person, Mr Michael Okocha, highlighted the need for workers to exhibit the right work attitude by demonstrating competence, professionalism, effective communication, accountability, transparency, adaptability, teamwork, and effective time management.

He encouraged civil servants to cultivate proper work ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, treating people with kindness and respect, and staying current with new trends and best practices.

He said, ”These values are essential for improved service delivery, increased trust, and enhanced collaboration among team members.”

News Men report that the training was well-attended by key officials , including the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Head of Service, directors, among others.
