Dangote Cement Plc has declared a profit after tax (PAT) of ₦974.8 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, representing a robust 31.2 percent increase compared to the figures posted during the corresponding period in 2025.
According to the financial statement released to the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), the company’s top-line growth was supported by a 19.6 percent year-on-year increase in group revenue, which rose to ₦3,774.2 billion up from ₦3,154.8 billion in the previous year.
This performance was underpinned by robust volume growth across both domestic and regional markets, with total group volumes increasing by 9.4 percent to 22.1 million tonnes.
Strong demand in the Nigerian market alongside a sharp 14.0 percent rebound in Pan-African volumes to 9.1 million tonnes significantly contributed to the positive outcome.
Operational efficiencies also bolstered the company’s financial standing, with group EBITDA climbing 23.7 percent to ₦1,766.3 billion and expanding the EBITDA margin to 46.8 percent. Earnings per share followed the upward trajectory, jumping 33.2 percent to ₦58.37 from ₦43.82 in the preceding year.
Additionally, the cement manufacturer reported a strong operating cash flow of ₦1,826.6 billion, allowing for a healthy free cash flow position.
Commenting, Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Cement Plc, Arvind Pathak attributed the record-breaking results to disciplined cost management, enhanced operational efficiencies, and sustained market demand across all operational footprints, positioning the company for continued value creation as it advances capital projects like the Itori phase 1 development.
