Cole apologises to Kendrick Lamar for dissing him
American rapper J. Cole has apologised to his colleague Kendrick Lamar for dissing him.
NEWSMEN recalls that J. Cole had fired back at Lamar on ‘7 Minute Drill,’ saying “he fell off like the Simpsons” after he dissed Cole and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s song, ‘Like That,’ which featured him.
Surprisingly, J. Cole paused his set during his performance at the 2024 Dreamville Festival in North Carolina on Sunday to apologise to Lamar.
He also promised to take the diss track off streaming services.
- Cole said, “I’m so proud of my latest project, ‘Might Delete Later,’ excerpt for one part. Is one part of that sh*t that made me feel like that is the lamest sh*t I ever did in my f*cking life… I struggled with my spirit to put out the Kendrick Lamar’s diss. That sh*t doesn’t sit right with my spirit. That sh*t disrupt my peace.
