Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate newspaper page planning and layout in line with editorial content, advertising requirements, and production schedules
- Supervise pagination and ensure that stories, headlines, photographs, graphics, and advertisements are correctly positioned
- Review completed pages for layout accuracy, consistency, formatting errors, and compliance with production specifications
- Coordinate with editorial, commercial, and printing teams to resolve page-planning issues and meet production deadlines
- Oversee the preparation and submission of final newspaper pages for printing
- Maintain production records and prepare routine reports
- Escalate operational challenges and recommend practical solutions
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in managing newspaper page planning and layout
- Strong planning, coordination, quality-control, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Figma, or other relevant page-layout and design software
- Ability to manage deadlines, resources, and competing production priorities
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
