The Digital Publisher will coordinate the publication and distribution of Nigerian NewsDirect’s content across its digital platforms, ensuring effective publishing workflows, content presentation, and audience reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the publication of approved content across Nigerian NewsDirect’s website and relevant digital platforms
- Upload and format articles, images, headlines, captions, and other digital assets
- Ensure content is published accurately and according to editorial schedules
- Coordinate with editorial, online, and production teams to maintain a consistent publishing workflow
- Apply SEO principles to headlines, metadata, and article formatting
- Track digital publishing activity and relevant audience performance indicators
- Identify and report website publishing issues or content-management challenges
- Maintain consistency in digital content presentation and platform standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 1 year experience with website publishing tools or content management systems
- Familiarity with digital publishing workflows and basic SEO
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
- Ability to work with multiple teams and meet publication deadlines
