Cadbury Nigeria Plc has announced the retirement of its Managing Director, Mrs. Oyeyimika Adeboye, effective Sunday, November 30, 2025.
The disclosure was made in a notification to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public.
Mrs. Adeboye, who joined Cadbury in November 2008 as Finance and Strategy Director, rose to become Managing Director on April 1, 2019.
The Board praised her for an exceptional tenure, noting that her contributions were instrumental in driving substantial growth and positioning the company for sustainable and profitable expansion.
“The Board expresses its deep appreciation to Mrs. Adeboye for her exceptional service,” the statement read, highlighting her pivotal role since joining the Board in 2008.
Cadbury Nigeria added that the announcement of a new substantive Managing Director would be made in due course.
Meanwhile, the Board has appointed Mrs. Folake Ogundipe, the current Finance Director, as Interim Managing Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company during the transition.
Mrs. Ogundipe joined Cadbury in September 2025 and was later appointed to the Board as Finance Director.
She is recognised as a seasoned executive with extensive multi-decade experience in business transformation, shareholder value creation, and building high-performance cultures within the consumer goods industry.
The Board expressed confidence in her ability to effectively steer Cadbury Nigeria Plc during the transition period.
