Bammeke retires as Fidelity Bank’s Independent Non-Executive Director

Fidelity Bank Plc has announced the retirement of Mrs. Morohunke Bammeke as an Independent Non-Executive Director following the successful completion of her tenure on the bank’s board.
In a press release issued on Thursday, the Company Secretary, Ezinwa Unuigboje, formally notified NGX Regulation Limited and the investing public of the transition.
The bank disclosed that Mrs. Bammeke would officially step down on April 30, 2026, in accordance with the bank’s retirement policy.
Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Bammeke played vital oversight roles across several critical committees. She served on the Board Audit Committee and chaired the Board Information Technology Committee, where her expertise helped guide the bank’s digital and operational strategies.
Fidelity Bank expressed deep gratitude for her service, acknowledging her significant contributions to the institution’s strategic growth and corporate governance.
“The Board and Management seize this opportunity to express sincere appreciation to Mrs. Morohunke Bammeke for her outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the bank during her tenure and wish her the very best in her future endeavors,” the statement concluded.
