An adult Nigerian by the name Arinze Malachy Ikemka, 36 years of age who hails from Onitsha, Anambra State. He took part in the 2019 Onitsha – IPOB civil unrest, that resulted in clashes between the Nigerian Army with other government security forces and the secessionist group that are mainly Igbo people of south eastern states, Nigeria.
Arinze was caught in sharing divisive flyers belonging to the outlawed set and actively involved in social media campaigns and radio missives that were hitting hard on the foundation of the unity and peaceful coexistence of Nigeria.
During his arrest at the 2019 Onitsha protest, he was beaten and tortured by the men of the Joint Military Task Force (JMTF). He and some members who were apprehended managed to escape.
Furthermore, background findings showed he was declared WANTED for being part of the arrowhead in the IPOB Onitsha Mega Rally 2019, for the fear of outcome of the event, in effect many of their members are at large, some are hiding in different locations within and outside the country.
