APC Chieftain predicts victory in Osun polls

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed strong optimism that the party’s governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, will emerge victorious in the upcoming August 15 election. Speaking on Sunday, Oyintiloye asserted that the opposition’s “campaign of calumny” against the APC and its candidate would fail to stop the party’s return to the government house.

The party leader claimed that the series of accusations leveled against the APC and Oyebamiji are rooted in the opposition’s fear of an impending defeat. He described the deliberate spread of misinformation as a desperate attempt to mislead the electorate before they head to the polls.

“The opposition is jittery because of the electoral defeat that awaits them on Aug. 15, and that is why they are spreading misinformation on a daily basis,” Oyintiloye stated. “But the good news is that the people of Osun are now wiser and will not repeat the mistake they made in 2022. They are eager to return the APC to power.”

According to him, the party’s chances have been bolstered by the character of its candidate, whom he described as a man of integrity, honesty, and diligence. Oyintiloye also voiced his confidence in the high-caliber members of the campaign committee, led by Hon. Wole Oke, predicting a resounding defeat for the opposition.

In his concluding remarks, he urged the residents of Osun State to remain steadfast and ignore the narratives of “desperate individuals” who he claims are working to derail the state’s return to progressive governance.
