APC Chieftain defends Tinubu’s academic records

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Alwan Hassan has defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu against allegations of certificate forgery.

Appearing on Channels TV Politics Today on Monday, Hassan dismissed claims raised by opposition figures regarding the President’s Bachelor of Science degree from Chicago State University.

He insisted that those making the accusations must provide concrete proof rather than relying on political rhetoric.

“Asiwaju couldn’t have ever lied with a foreign certificate as a BSc. If the Chicago University they claim to be forged is forged, can we have the evidence? Can they write to the university?” Hassan said during the broadcast.

He maintained that documentary evidence and direct confirmation from the issuing body remain the only valid means to settle disputes over public officials’ qualifications.

The APC Chieftain urged critics to seek direct clarification from the American institution itself.
