Ademola Lookman turns down Napoli as Inter Milan lead transfer race

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has reportedly rejected an offer from reigning Serie A champions Napoli, signaling his preference for a move to Inter Milan.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli made a formal approach to Atalanta for the Nigerian international, but the player declined the offer as he is only interested in joining the Nerazzurri.
Lookman is said to have already agreed personal terms with Inter Milan on a deal worth €4.5 million per year, running through to 2030. However, negotiations between Inter and Atalanta are ongoing, with Inter’s initial €40 million bid rejected by the Bergamo-based club.
Atalanta are holding out for a €50 million fee for the 26-year-old winger, who has become a key figure in Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad since joining from RB Leipzig.
Lookman's impressive performances have also attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Liverpool, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid.
The Nigerian star has been a standout player in Serie A and was instrumental in Atalanta’s recent domestic and European campaigns.
