Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has claimed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) opposition coalition carries the DNA of both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sani made the remarks on Tuesday while asserting that the ADC coalition is essentially similar to PDP and APC.

The coalition recently adopted ADC as its official platform, attracting prominent political figures including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal, former Senate President David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, and Rotimi Amaechi.

Posting on X, Sani wrote, “Some people came with the DNA of the ruling party and some with the DNA of the PDP and gave birth to the coalition. And you say that baby is different.”

The former senator added that voters should critically assess the coalition’s structure and motives before lending support.
