Access Bank Plc has launched the 2025 edition of its flagship Womenpreneur Pitch a Ton, offering over N17.5 million in grants to female entrepreneurs across Africa, alongside mentorship, business training, and networking opportunities.

Applications for this year’s programme opened on September 19, 2025, and will close on October 3, 2025. The initiative, which started in 2019, has supported hundreds of women through business training, mentorship, and funding.

Speaking on the launch, Nene Kunle Ogunlusi, Group Head of Women Banking at Access Bank, said the programme aims to help women scale their businesses, gain visibility, and connect with like-minded trailblazers across the continent. Participants will also benefit from an intensive Mini-MBA programme designed in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Oyeyipo Ifeoluwa, Project Manager of Womenpreneur Pitch a Ton, highlighted that since inception, the programme has trained 878 women and awarded grants totaling $175,000, noting that the initiative is a holistic journey to transform women-led businesses and boost Africa’s economic development.

The 2025 edition is open to women entrepreneurs who own at least 50 percent of their businesses, which must be duly registered and operational for more than one year.
