Ogun Deputy Gov. charges newly elected APC Ward executives on performance

The newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) ward leaders have been advised to see their election as a call to duty which requires utmost sense of responsibility on their parts.

The Ogun state Deputy Governor Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele gave the advice over the weekend at Otta ward III, where she took part in the Ward congress of the ruling party, APC.

While informing the new ward leaders that they are now to be the link between the party’s apex body and faithfuls at the grassroot, she urged them to spread its message across board for better performance during elections.

Engr. Salako-Oyedele admonished the party representatives to continue to support the leadership at the state and national levels in ensuring good governance.

Speaking on the conduct of the congress in her ward, the Deputy Governor said the exercise in Otta ward three was hitch free and all inclusive as the APC members unanimously agreed to the choice of the executive members of the party at the ward which has 76 polling units.
