The Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku has called for support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential elections.
Speaking after the APC National Convention in Abuja, Hon.Ajanaku, stated that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is already coordinating intensified mobilization efforts to ensure the state remains a stronghold for the party.
Ajanaku highlighted that Ondo State provided the highest vote tally for the President in the South-West during the previous election and expressed confidence that the state would exceed that performance in 2027.
He described the recent national convention as a clear demonstration of the party’s unity and readiness for future electoral challenges.
The Commissioner also noted the sustained support to significant federal interventions that have bolstered the state’s economy. These projects include the 71-kilometer Ondo section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, the ongoing construction of the Ore-Ondo Road, and the development of the Ondo Sea Port.
Ajanaku also extended birthday felicitations to the President, praising his wisdom in navigating national affairs.
