2027 : APM remains strong, ready to wrestle power in Lagos — Adeoye

​‌‌⁠⁠⁠‍⁠⁠‌‍​⁠‍​​‌‍‌​The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in Lagos has reaffirmed its unity, and readiness to challenge  the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) in  2027.

Prince Laja Adeoye, APM governorship candidate in Lagos, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday following a strategic meeting between him and the party’s Senate and House of Representatives candidates.

Adeoye said the meeting, convened by the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organisation (LACO), was attended by members of the State Executive Committee and other key party officials.

He said those in attendance included the State Chairman, State Secretary, Woman Leader, Organising Secretary, Publicity Secretary and Youth Leader.

According to him, the meeting also featured prominent participation from APM chairmen of the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

Adeoye said several critical issues were fully resolved during the meeting, while important appointments were also made.

He said the resolutions reached further demonstrated the party’s commitment to strengthening its structure and coordination ahead of the 2027 elections.

“APM Lagos remains one strong, united family,” Adeoye said.

He said the party was fully committed to delivering massive votes for all its candidates, from the governorship to the National Assembly.

Adeoye said the strategic meeting provided an opportunity for the party’s candidates and leaders to strengthen their coordination and resolve ahead of the elections.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the campaign organisation to working with party leaders, candidates and members across the state to achieve the APM’s objectives.

The governorship candidate urged party members and supporters to remain united and focused as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 elections.

He said the party’s strength remained anchored on its structures across the LGAs and LCDAs and the commitment of its members to the APM.
