Why 2027 election will be easier to win - Gov.Otti

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has given reasons why his 2027 re-election bid will be easier for him to win

Speaking at the 2025 Aro Day event in Arochukwu Local Government Area, Otti said unlike in 2023 when he was selling promises, his 2027 campaign would leverage visible accomplishments already delivered to the people.

The Governor expressed confidence that his re-election bid in 2027 will be smoother than his previous campaigns.

“Just like it happened in 2023, 2027 will even be smoother, I can assure you. Why am I so confident? I’m confident because in 2023, we were selling promises, but now there are one or two things we can point to,” he said.

The governor also noted that many individuals are causing themselves unnecessary stress about the 2027 elections, even though the election year is still some time away.

Governor Otti is currently the only Labour Party governor in Nigeria and has repeatedly emphasised results-driven governance as the foundation of his political strategy.
