Twenty-three Ambassadors representing the 23 Local Government Areas of Sokoto State have been inaugurated to coordinate and drive the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots level across the state.
The Ambassadors were inaugurated with the mandate to serve as torchbearers of renewed hope and progress, focusing on strengthening grassroots mobilisation, engaging local communities, and effectively communicating the objectives and benefits of the Renewed Hope Agenda within their respective local government areas.
The Renewed Hope Agenda, a flagship policy framework of the Tinubu administration, is designed to reposition Nigeria on the path of sustainable economic growth and national development.
The Agenda places priority on critical sectors such as infrastructure development, particularly roads and housing, poverty reduction, job creation, improved healthcare delivery, quality education, food security, and wide-ranging economic reforms. These initiatives align with the administration’s vision of building a one-trillion-dollar economy by the year 2030.
Speaking at the event, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Sokoto State, Mr. Isah Sadiq Achida, described the inauguration as a clear demonstration of the Federal Government’s commitment to inclusive governance and the improvement of citizens’ welfare. He stressed that effective grassroots engagement remains central to the success of the administration’s reforms.
Other speakers at the ceremony urged Nigerians to rally behind the policies and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, noting that collective support is essential to achieving national prosperity and sustainable development.
