Osun Gov., Oyetola appoints new Accountant General

Osun state Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has approved the appointment of Mr Rasheed Olalere as the new Accountant General of the State, following the retirement of Mr Moses Sunday Igbaroola.
In a statement signed on Wednesday by Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office, Leye Aina and obtained by Nigerian NewsDirect in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
According to statement, “The Governor of the State of Osun, His Excellency, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has graciously approved the appointment of Mr Rasheed Olalere Alabi as the new Accountant General of the State with effect from May, 21st 2021.
“The appointment is consequent upon the voluntary retirement of the incumbent Accountant General, Mr Moses Sunday Igbaroola, from the Civil Service on the attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.
“The incoming Accountant General, Mr Rasheed Olalere Alabi, is currently the Director, Treasury and Pension Services, Office of the Accountant General. He is a seasoned Technocrat and a chartered Accountant who is efficient in the discharge of his duties.
“The Governor has equally approved, with immediate effect, the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Taiwo Temilade Adeagbo as the Executive Secretary of the newly established Osun State Senior Secondary Schools Education Board. Dr (Mrs) Adeagbo is currently the Director, Public Schools, State Ministry of Education,” the statement added.
