One year anniversary: Ogun Speaker hails Abiodun’s for support
The Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide has eulogised the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his unwavering support during the One anniversary of his tenure as Speaker of the State Assembly.
He said the governor had be able to provide to the Assembly Complex with portable water and renovation of the legislative chamber, now wearing a new look while ensuring the honourable members an enabling working environment.
The Speaker who made this known during a courtesy call by the National Executive members, Alumni Associations of Reverend Kuti Grammar School (Kutites), held at Oke-Mosan.
According to him, the struggle of the School founder was borne out of passion for the success of Egba indigenes, assuring the State government of the Kutites supports in achieving development of the State in the education sector.
In the same veins, Hon. Elemide has advised the Alumni to present officially all their School requests through the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure while promising to fast-track its implementation and enforcement.
Earlier, the National President, Alumni Associations, Reverend Kuti Grammar School, (Kutite), Mr. Kunle Oguntoyinbo honoured the Speaker with a plaque in recognising him as a worthy Ambassador of the ‘Kutites’ and his achievement as the Head of legislative arm, applauding the honourable members for their supports.
He urged the State government to help recover the School encroached landed property, provision of portable water and building new classrooms to replace the ddilapibitated and decayed ones, adding that the Students needs new structures for conducive learning environment.
