The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has launched a next-generation tax administration platform dubbed Rev360.
In a statement issued on Thursday, April 30, in Abuja, the agency said the platform represents a critical milestone in modernising Nigeria’s tax ecosystem, shifting from largely manual and fragmented processes to a fully integrated, intelligent, and taxpayer-centric system.
According to the NRS, Rev360 is designed to streamline tax processes, improve transparency, and enhance service delivery through real-time visibility into transactions and more efficient management of tax obligations.
It added that the platform builds on previous digital reforms while introducing a more seamless and responsive user experience.
Speaking on the significance of the launch, the Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, said the platform goes beyond technology deployment, framing it as part of a broader national development strategy.
“Rev360 is more than a platform; it is a statement of intent. It reflects our commitment to building a tax system that works seamlessly for every Nigerian, strengthens trust in public institutions, and supports the growth of our economy. This is about creating a future where tax administration is not a burden, but an enabler of national development,” he remarked.
Ahead of the official rollout, the NRS disclosed that it conducted an extensive nationwide readiness programme to ensure smooth adoption across the tax ecosystem.
This included end-user training across tax offices, stakeholder webinars involving taxpayers, consultants, and business groups, as well as physical sensitisation campaigns in multiple regions.
The agency also deployed product demonstration videos, onboarding materials, and a comprehensive user guide to support the transition. In addition, it established a structured feedback and support system featuring a detailed Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) repository, multi-channel engagement platforms, and defined response timelines to address user concerns.
“These efforts are aimed at ensuring that taxpayers, consultants, and all users of the platform are not only aware of Rev360, but fully prepared and supported in its use,” the statement noted.
The NRS further explained that the implementation of Rev360 will follow a phased approach, beginning with medium and emerging taxpayers before extending to government entities and large taxpayers, a strategy it said would ensure a controlled and effective transition.
“The transition to Rev360 will be implemented in phases, beginning with Medium and Emerging Taxpayers, and subsequently extending to Government and Large Taxpayers, ensuring a structured and effective rollout,” it added.
The agency further reaffirmed its commitment to continuous innovation and leadership in tax administration, expressing confidence that the platform would boost compliance, strengthen revenue collection, and significantly improve the overall taxpayer experience.
