NASD OTC market increases by 0.04%

The NASD OTC Securities Exchange Market closed last week on a positive note, gaining 0.04per cent to close the week at 754.43 basis points against 754.11 basis points it opened for trading.
Our correspondent gathered that the NASD market closed on a positive note in its Year-Till-Date (YTD) performance by 1.72per cent.
Total volume traded YtD stands at 1,527,348,318 units in 3156 deals and total Value traded is N12,093,622,923.
Week 29 saw NASD Investors gain N0.28 billion in value. NASD OTC Market capitalization closed at N 655.73 billion compared to N655.45billion on Friday, July 16, 2021, resulting from a positive movement in prices.
There was a 88.14per cent decrease in the total value traded during the week, as week 29 saw NASD Investors trade a total of N180,716,948 in value compared to N1,523,136,426 in the previous week. Total trade activity for the year is valued at N12,093,622,923.
Total volume traded during the week was 8,822,556 units compared to 28,713,961 units in the previous week leading to a 69.27per cent decrease in trade volume compared to week 28. Total volume traded for the year is 1,527,348,318 units.
The week closed with Nigerian Exchange Group PLC ranking top among the five most traded securities by volume and Mixta Real Estate PLC as the fifth most traded stock by volume traded in the week.

Central Securities and Clearing System PLC, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N92.50 billion closed the week at N18.50 representing a 1.65 percent increase from the previous close of N 18.20.
Nigerian Exchange Group PLC, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N32.54 billion closed the week at N17.13 representing a 2.00 percent decrease from the previous close of N17.48.
Friesland Campina Wamco Nigeria PLC, which currently holds a Market Capitalization of N117.23 billion closed the week at N120.08 representing a 0.45 percent increase from the previous close of N120.63.
