Middle east crisis: It is not too late to apologize to Iran – Oluwo urges Trump

The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has urged United States President Donald Trump to tender a formal apology to the leadership of Iran to de-escalate the worsening Middle East crisis noting that it is not too late to do so.
In a statement personally released on Tuesday, the monarch argued that a holistic apology to the Iranian authorities and NATO allies represents a vital opportunity for President Trump to preserve the global leadership status of the United States.
Oba Akanbi emphasized that true leadership is defined by the ability to admit fault, noting that the world currently requires a template for just and egalitarian leadership rather than one driven by personal ego.
The monarch expressed concern over the frosty relations currently developing among NATO nations, suggesting that the international community is looking for a diplomatic reset.
He described the United States as a dream country built on justice and credibility but warned that its integrity is being tested by the ongoing hostilities between Iran and Israel.
“Trump is failing, but it is not too late to right the wrong,” the Oluwo remarked, stressing that the global economy and human dignity should be prioritized over political posturing.
Oba Akanbi further noted that the world sympathizes with Iran over the painful death of their leaders, asserting that the sovereignty of nations and the value of human life must be respected regardless of geopolitical standing.
He cautioned that adding salt to the injury would only deepen the economic quagmire currently affecting the globe.
In his concluding remarks, the traditional ruler urged Israel to urgently improve its international relations, reminding all parties that the world is too fragile to sustain a conflict rooted in ego.
He warned that nature might not forgive the staging of such an avoidable war and called for immediate, open dialogue with Iran to ensure a peaceful survival for all nations.
