The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has accused elements within the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of orchestrating coordinated political vandalism across the state, describing the development as a dangerous threat to democracy and peaceful political engagement.

In a statement issued by the council’s spokesperson, Pelumi Olajengbesi, it was alleged that billboards belonging to the Imole Campaign and the ACCORD party were destroyed in the early hours of Friday across several local government areas, including Irewole, Ayedaade, Ife, Irepodun, Oriade, and Osogbo.

Olajengbesi called on the Inspector General of Police to immediately order a full investigation into these coordinated attacks to ensure that all perpetrators and their sponsors are brought to justice.
The statement urged security agencies, civil society organizations, and the international community to take note of the growing pattern of politically motivated violence.
The Council claimed to have reliable information that the operation was coordinated by a notorious individual aided by compromised security operatives.
Olajengbesi argued that the APC is resorting to intimidation and destruction because it has failed to offer a meaningful alternative vision for governance and is overwhelmed by the popularity of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Responding to these allegations, the Osun State APC Governorship Campaign Council accused the Adeleke administration of engaging in self-vandalism and diversionary politics.
In a statement released on Friday by Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, the Head of the Media and Publicity Committee, the opposition dismissed the TICC’s claims as false and desperate.
The APC maintained that it is actually their candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, whose materials have been repeatedly targeted and destroyed by thugs linked to the state government.
