I’m afraid of being killed by a strong politician, man cries out

Mr Ogunkoya Kazeem Afolabi is a forwarding and clearing agent in Lagos.

He has been in the business for a long time. This is because chunk of the business is a family venture, belonging to Afolabi and his elder brother, Ogunkoya Kamorudeen who took over after the death of their father.

Afolabi was approached by a strong politician who said he needed his service, which will require moving some containers into the country.

When asked what the container were going to convey, he was told it contained some weapons to protect a party during campaign and rallies.

Afolabi declined and told the politician that such services would not be rendered.

Another agent was consulted who agreed to the decision, however, they got caught during the whole process.

The politician in his own thinking imagined and decided to blame Afolabi by saying he was responsible for their being caught and vowed to destroy the life of Afolabi and his family.

On the 17th of January 2019, some men came to Afolabi office and in the process of trying to figure out where Afolabi was, his elder brother, Kamorudeen was shot at the leg.

After this, twice there have been attacks made on Afolabi at his home which prompted him to take his family out of the country as this was the only way he could guarantee the safety of his family but still the attacks on him personally haven’t stopped.
