Gov Sule denies withdrawing security personnel from Al-Makura’s residence

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has denied withdrawing security personnel from the private residence of his predecessor, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura in Lafia, the state capital.

There were reports in some sections of the media accusing the Governor of withdrawing the security personnel detailed to guard the home of Al-Makura in Lafia.

Emmanuel Innocent Akwe, Personal Assistant to Governor Sule on Media in a reaction to the viral claims, refuted any connection between Governor Sule and the recent withdrawal of security personnel from Senator Al-Makura’s residence.

Akwe discredited the credibility of the said post, labelling those circulating the false information as attention seekers, mischief makers, and people without direction.

Emmanuel urged the public to disregard any information originating from such quarters concerning the matter.
