Gov. Adeleke mourns death of Yeye Dupe Adeleke’s husband

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has expressed deep shock over the death of Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni, the Matriarch of Sanni family, and the husband of Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni.

Adeleke in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, commiserated with his sister, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni and the entire Sanni family over the loss of such a dear nice, kind and easy going father figure.

The Governor recalled with nostalgia the many contributions of the 74-year-old late Alhaji Sanni, particularly his exemplary lifestyle as a good father, great and grandfather, who did a lot for the growth and development of Islam and humanity in general.

Adeleke also acknowledged and appreciated the many contributions of the late Baba Sanni to him personally, especially during the struggle to become the Executive Governor of Osun state.

He prayed Allah to grant him Aljanbah Firdaus just as he urged the family he left behind to take solace in the fact that he lived a good life.

The burial took place at Challenge area, Ibadan by 4:00 pm on Sunday evening.
