Esa-Oke killing: Adeleke demonstrated the kind of home training he got — Wole Oke

A member of the House of Representatives and Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Osun State Governorship Campaign Council, Hon. Wole Oke, has accused Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of visiting his hometown, Esa-Oke, to allegedly rain curses and abuses on him over an issue he claims to have no knowledge of.

He stated that he would not respond to the governor’s alleged conduct in a similar manner, insisting that his focus remains on removing Adeleke from office through the ballot.

Oke disclosed this over the weekend, describing himself as a man of peace who neither keeps malice with people nor associates with thugs.

According to him, “Mr. Governor demonstrated the kind of home training he received and has bequeathed to his children. But take note, you have few days left to quit that office and seat.”

Reacting to the death of Rogba Ajayi, Oke expressed sympathy over the incident, noting that he doubted whether he had ever met or known the deceased.

He added that Governor Adeleke is currently protected by immunity under Section 308 of the 1999 Constitution, vowing to seek legal redress after the governor leaves office.

“Rogba, irrespective of his past, has run his race like everyone of us, and when it’s time, we will all go. Those who killed Rogba Ajayi will not know peace.”

“I can assure you we shall meet in court after November 26, 2027,” Oke added.

He further claimed that the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke was built on his personal contributions.

“The government you are running and enjoying was built on my sweat. I will not go raw or dirty like you did. You will lose the forthcoming election on August 15, 2026, handsomely. My mission is to lead a struggle to remove you from office through the ballot.”

“Governor Adeleke cannot believe that he will be leaving office on November 26, 2026, by midnight. This wind of change blowing, walahi, you cannot stop it. Do you think my people believed you? I love my people, and I owe them a duty of care,” he said.
