Ekiti: Renewed Hope Ambassadors tasks Oyebanji on inclusive leadership

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors has charged Gov. Biodun Oyebanji to remain inclusive, noble and magnanimous in victory, as he leads Ekiti for greater progress in second tenure.
Mr Tunde Rahman, Director, Media and Publicity, Renewed Hope Ambassadors gave the charge in a statement on Monday in Abuja, while congratulating Oyenbanji on his landslide victory in Saturday’s Ekiti governorship election.
He also congratulated Chief Dayo Adeyeye, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors South-West Zonal Coordinator, who is also the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, and the Ekiti Coordinator on the victory.
“We laud the people of Ekiti, for a peaceful, transparent, and well-attended poll and commend President Bola Tinubu, whose bold reforms and policies created the enabling environment for victory at the polls.” he said.
Rhaman said the decision of Ekiti people at the poll reflected strong confidence in Oyebanji’s shared prosperity agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for Nigeria.
“As Renewed Hope Ambassadors, our work has only just begun. We must work for the victory of the APC governorship candidate in the Osun governorship election slated for Aug. 15.
“We must continue the task of articulating and disseminating the reforms and achievements of President Tinubu, which are significant and potent enough to ensure his re-election in January 2027.”
He noted that Oyebanji’s first term delivered visible results in infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education, adding that the renewed mandate is a call on hm to do more in his second term.
He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to mobilise support for policies that deepened development in Ekiti and across the country.
” We wish Oyebanji renewed strength and speed as he began this new term in office, Ekiti’s best days are ahead.
The Newsmen report that Oyebanji was declared winner by INEC in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital after securing majority of votes across the state’s 16 Local Government Areas.
INEC in the election’s final collation, announced that the governor polled 319,224 votes to defeat his closest rival, Wole Oluyede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 40,543 votes.
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Mr Oluwadare Bejide came third with 12,872 votes.
