Body of man murdered by suspected cultists released to family

The body of Mathew Ademakinwa Fagbohun who was shot dead in his son in-law’s house, Mr Adewale Ademola Ojebiyi and his daughter, has been released by the police for burial.

The incident occurred at Adu Close, Eleyele area of Ibadan, Oyo State on June 10, 2024

Fagbohun was gruesomely murdered by a group of cultists suspected to be Aye Confraternity.

The late Fagbohun was shot on the left side of his chest by the suspects who came looking for his son-in-law, Mr Adewale Ademola Ojebiyi, after he refused to cooperate with them to carry out some illegal money laundering for some Nigeria Politician and drug trafficking to South Africa where their syndicates based.

It was learnt that ever since then, they have been after him and his family. It was also gathered that the cultist attacked him in Abuja in February 2020 where he was given some marks on his hands with a razor blade.

They also attacked him in Lagos when he was shot in his right leg while the last attack happened in their house in Ibadan, where the cultist members shot his father-in-law to death.
