Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO) of Ifako-Ijaiye federal constituency, the initiator and founder of BAO Crusaders Cooperative Multipurpose Societies has called on the political class, philanthropists and those that are capable of helping the needy to emulate the lifestyle of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in making people and improving the economical standards of all and sundry.
He made this statement at the 2years anniversary of the cooperative societies, a parent body of BAO Crusaders (Ifako-Ijaiye) CMS Limited, BAOKU (Ojokoro) CMS Limited and BAO Singers Cooperative Society respectively.
Noting that his motive of economically empowering the people for self-sustainability is to replicate what Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing across borders and replicate the same in the Ifako-Ijaiye Federal constituency and beyond.
“If you look at what Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done for his followers since inception till date, you will marvel. He has made countless of people and that I am emulating,” he said.
“I am different from those people that will give meagre support and make a long list which they will later publish to showcase who and who has benefited from them. I don’t do that and that is why I initiated this cooperative so that I can help people in thousands at a time consecutively,” BAO said.
“I don’t want my people to be knocking on different doors when they need stuff done especially for financial support but rather to be self-sufficient and self-reliant,” he said.
In a similar development, the President of BAO Crusaders, Chief Akeredolu made it known the arm coordinated by him has disbursed Eight Million, One Hundred Thousand (N8,100, 000.00) to beneficiaries, and 30 tricycles while deep freezers, generators, washing machines and another cash support of One Million and Three Hundred thousand Naira (N1, 300, 00.00) were doled out to celebrate her two years of interrupted and very successful existence.
Similarly the coordinator of BAOKU Cooperative, Hon. Samuel Olalekan Abatti said from his end N7.1million was dolled out while Alhaja Bola Adu confirmed that over N2million naira had been dolled out to members of BAO Singers to expand their businesses.
Present at the event is the All Progressives Congress (APC) party chairman for Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Deacon Omole, APC Ojokoro LCDA Caretaker Chairman, Prince Adewale Bello, APC Chieftain, Alhaji Hassan Ajeigbe, Alhaji Bisi Adedokun (a.k.a Odeomu), and a host of other party big whips and friends of BAO.
