Assembly Commission Chairman urges staff to redouble efforts

The Chairman, Ekiti House of Assembly Service Commission, Chief Taiwo Olatunbosun, has enjoined members of staff to redouble efforts and be more committed to their works to achieve the commission’s mandate in 2021.

Olatunbosun made the call in a New Year message by the Press Officer of the commission, Mr Olasunkanmi Ekundayo, on Monday in Ado-Ekiti

The chairman said the call was aimed at enhancing efficient and supportive legislative service delivery in the Legislative Arm of Government.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the commission to efficient provision of sustainable growth and development, in line with the mission and vision of Gov. Kayode Fayemi led administration.

Olatunbosun, therefore, urged the members of staff of the commission and the state in general to allow their resolutions align with the mission and vision of the governor.

He also called on them and Ekiti people in general to align with the government directives and be in strict compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols.

He noted that several lessons had been learnt in the outgone year as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and #EndSARs protests.

The chairman expressed happiness for God’s protection over the Board members, the Management staff and the entire workers of the State House of Assembly and the commission.

He noted that God was so faithful to both the political class and the Bureaucrats in 2020, adding that the year would remain unforgettable in the history of the state, Nigeria and the world

Olatunbosun emphasised the need for the members of staff to be more committed to their duties.
