The family of the late Dele Aiyegbo has received educational and economic support from the Member representing Ijesa North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, following the death of their loved one.
Oluwole Oke, who also served as Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the just-concluded Osun State Governorship Election, announced the intervention during a meeting with the deceased’s immediate family.
The lawmaker, while commiserating with the family, pledged to support the three children of the deceased by providing scholarships covering their education up to the university level.
He also offered an empowerment package to the widow to enable her establish a sustainable means of livelihood and meet the family’s needs.
The gesture further reflects Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke’s people-oriented leadership and commitment to investing in the future of constituents, particularly families facing difficult circumstances. His support for the Aiyegbo family is being seen as another demonstration of his belief that leadership goes beyond politics and includes compassion, responsibility and genuine service to the people.
