The chic, whirlwind European adventures of Emily Cooper are drawing to a close. Netflix has officially announced that its hit romantic-comedy series, Emily in Paris, will conclude with its upcoming sixth season.
Production on the final chapter has already commenced in Greece and Monaco. Series star Lily Collins, who has portrayed the fashion-forward marketing executive for six years, reacted to the news in a video message shared by the streaming platform.
“After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I’m here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final,” Collins said.
She assured fans that the farewell season would deliver everything you love about the show and serve as the perfect conclusion to the adventure of a lifetime.
Series creator Darren Star also reflected on the journey, describing the production as the trip of a lifetime and expressing deep gratitude to Netflix, Paramount, and the global fanbase.
Since its debut in 2020, Emily in Paris has been a massive streaming powerhouse for Netflix. The show has spent a combined 32 weeks on the Global Top 10 English-language TV chart and reached the number-one spot in 90 countries, drawing over 250 million views.
Season 6 is expected to premiere in late 2026 or early 2027, wrapping up the dramatic cliffhangers from the previous season and giving Emily a definitive ending.
