24 Jun 2026

The Lagos State Government has introduced the Electronic Physical Planning Processing System (E-PPPS), a digital platform designed to reduce delays and improve the process of getting planning permits in the state.

‎The platform was unveiled during a stakeholders sensitisation programme organised by the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.

‎Speaking at the event, the Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, said the new system is an important step in the state’s move towards digital governance and better service delivery.

‎According to him, the platform will allow applicants to submit and track their permit applications online in real time, making the process more transparent and reducing uncertainty.

‎Government officials present at the event also noted that the system is expected to address long-standing complaints about delays in permit approvals while making the process faster and easier for developers and other professionals in the built environment.

‎The E-PPPS is part of Lagos State’s wider effort to improve public service through technology and ensure a more efficient permit approval system.
