Some gunmen suspected to be bandits have again attacked and razed an automobile shop in Madamai village in Kagoro Chiefdom, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Nigerian NewsDirect gathered that the auto shop razed on Thursday, December 16, 2021, belongs to one Oluseun Adekunle Adegbuyi few days after the shop owner’s slain father’s body was discovered.

His father, the late Adegbuyi Fashola Badmus, had been abducted in an earlier attack in Kagoro town, Kaura Local Government by bandits on 26th September 2021, before his slain body was later discovered on 1st December 2021. While his (shop owner) whereabouts had been unknown since then.

One of the eyewitness, who preferred anonymity, told Nigerian NewsDirect that Oluseun had been attacked at the shop months earlier before the attack that claimed his father’s life.

“The assailants went to the shop on Thursday and when they didn’t see Oluseun, they set the place ablaze. I am sure that if they had met him, they would have killed him.

“But what beats us now is how Oluseun and his father suddenly became target of this dangerous group currently terrorising different communities in the nation. We are all afraid now,” the eyewitness said.

It was however learnt that the police had swung into action and are working with other security agents and their counterparts in neighboring states to apprehend the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
