Adamawa Assembly confirms appointment of Devt. Area Administrators

The Adamawa House of Assembly on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of eight Development Area Administrators.

The assembly confirmed the appointments on Wednesday at resumed session presided over by Mr Pwamakeino Mackwando, the Deputy Speaker of the house.

The  confirmation followed the consideration and adoption of the letter of request forwarded to the legislature by Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri and read on the floor by the deputy speaker.

After deliberation on the importance of the letter by the lawmakers, the deputy speaker put the motion for the confirmation into voice vote and unanimously adopted by the House.

Thereafter Mackwando directed the Clerk of the House to communicate the resolution to the executive for further action.

Those confirmed are Alhaji Ali Lanara as administrator Koma Vumni development area of Jada; Haruna Hassan for Mbilla Maiha Gari of Maiha, Parisa Kaigamma for Uba Hildi of Hong LGA.

Others were Yunusa Gayus as administrator of Gengle development area of Mayo Belwa; Kabiru Lai for Toungo South; Amos Matalu for Dumne of Song; Aminu Chubado for Jera Bakari of Girei, and Misa Malkohi as administrator of Yola West.
