AGN extends gratitude to Tinubu for support towards Zack Orji’s health

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has conveyed its gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his supportive intervention regarding the health of Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, who recently traveled to the United Kingdom for a post-surgery assessment.

The National President of AGN, Dr. Emeka Rollas, expressed this appreciation in a statement issued on Saturday.

Rollas specifically commended President Tinubu for his fatherly intervention and also extended appreciation to the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, for her nurturing care towards the veteran actor.

Additionally, Rollas acknowledged the unwavering support provided by Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Tinubu.

The AGN emphasised the significant support received from President Tinubu towards the creative industry, highlighting his unprecedented assistance.

The gesture underscores the importance of collaboration between the government and the entertainment sector in promoting the welfare of artists and advancing the creative industry.

“This has clearly shown his clear determination to uplift the sector to be more relevant and beneficial to both the practitioners and the national economy and we find it necessary to appreciate him.

“We also appreciate the Minister for Women Affair, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, for her relentless efforts in ensuring that Zack Orji gets back on his feet hale and hearty.

“Zack Orji equally extends his profound gratitude to his longtime friend, Ahmed Bala, for standing by him all through the period.”
