Nasarawa: Minority leader calls for love, sacrifice, tolerance among Nigerians

The Minority Leader, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Abel Bala, has urged Muslims and other Nigerians to show love and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations, for development to thrive.

Bala made the call in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Lafia.

He felicitated with Muslims in his constituency and the state at large and urged them to reflect on the significance of the day – sacrifice.

The lawmaker, who emphasised the significance of the day to the Muslim Community, emphasised the need for believers to use the period and reflect on its benefits through sacrifice for the nation’s progress and service to humanity.

The legislator called on the people of his constituency, the state and the country at large to continue to live in peace, tolerate one another regardless of religion, political and other affiliations.

He called for love and support for one another, especially the needy and less privileged, to improve on their standard of living.

Bala wished Muslims a successful Sallah celebration.

Besides, the lawmaker assured of his continued commitment to provide the much needed dividends of democracy.

He further assured his constituency of quality representation at the Assembly.
